Things to do During a Vaccinated Summer

Updated: Jun 19, 2021

We almost made it... ALMOST. Many countries around the world are still struggling with Covid-19 however other countries are beginning to start their normal lifestyle again. All thanks to social distancing, washing your hands, and now the vaccine.

So here are TEN things to do now that places are starting to opening up due to the decline of Covid-19 cases.

1) Go to the movie theaters

Many theaters have opened up to people who want to rent a whole theater for a viewing. This is perfect if you miss the movie-going nostalgia and for a pretty affordable price of... $100. Which could be split into a maximum of 20 people.

2) Rent a boat/go to a body of water (ie: beaches, lakes, & rivers.)

Swimming is already a known thing to do during summer however many people couldn’t do it last year because everything was closed however now boats, rafting, and water skiing services have been opening up which is a perfect fun/safe outdoor activity.

3) Drive-in

Drive-ins have been semi-popular during the quarantine but are still perfect if you want to enjoy a movie outside of your home and be in the comfort of your vehicle

4) Hiking

Check out your local hiking spot in order to explore the nature that surrounds you.

5) Potluck at the park

This could be the same as having a picnic (maybe less glammy) but gather your closest and vaccinated friends to enjoy some good food.

6) Head to your local flea markets

Support local small businesses by checking out their products at a flea market and their stuff there is always so unique.

7) Ride an electric scooter.

Electric scooters are everywhere downtown now and some people are even using them to go to work. However, it can also be a fun way to check out your city.

8) Host a projector movie night.

Watching movies is always a must if you couldn’t tell by this list and another way you can spice up your movie viewing is by buying a projector and set it up in your backyard. While you're at it make it a whole thing and invite some friends

9) Horseback riding

Doesn’t ride a horse in an open field and the sun hitting your face sound so relaxing. Probably not for animal haters but if your normal person and loves animals this will be such a remarkable experience.

10) Escape Room

You will need good critical thinking friends for this activity because if not, you will be there for way too long. And if you somehow did understand the tile of this list you basically try escaping a room by using clues and solving riddles to get the key to the door.
